With a passion for music, poetry, dance, and visual arts, he weaves his talents together to create an immersive experience for his audience. Hailing from the vibrant culture of Kogi state in Nigeria, Tijay Webstar has honed his skills in the artistic hub of Jos Plateau state. His art serves as a lifeline, offering solace and inspiration in the face of life's challenges.
In 2020 he founded Gloves Off Rap Battle; a rap battle movement aimed at using rap for journalism to debate issues in the country and beyond. He works as a freelance creative designer for Unchained Vibes Africa; a non-profit organization aimed at leveraging the power of arts for social change.
Webstar has worked for some reputable brands like Arewa 24, CORA (Community for Relevant Arts), Idimma, Rentgage, IQ buddy, Tantric Travel Caribbean, Virility of Life coaching services Caribbeans, and Rias Organics.
Webstar also worked as a comic book illustrator for SEARCH FOR COMMON GROUND an N.G.O. whose mission is to transform the way the world deals with conflict, away from adversarial approaches, toward cooperative solutions.
